Agree about taking Myles Jack if he’s sitting there at 9. Ive heard a lot about Mike Smith adjusting his scheme to the talent, so why not put 3 aggressive athletic linebackers on the field for 90% of the plays and run the base defense? Or run a hybrid version of a 3-4 with David, Alexander or Jack coming off the edge/up the gut/wherever/whenever? The guy is a beast.

Being a Best Player Available proponent, if Miles Jack is head and shoulders above the other candidates at #9, you have to take him and find a way to get him on the field. With potentially three defensive linemen and two defensive backs off the board before Licht is pondering the choice, do we really think the 4th and 3rd ranked ones at our “positions of need” respectively are worthy? Other than QB and RB, all positions are a need for us.
