Notre Dame WR Golden Tate will enter the 2010 NFL Draft.

As a true junior, Tate broke Jeff Samardzija's school records of 93 catches and 1,496 receiving yards, and added 18 all-purpose TDs. Tate is on the small side (listed generously at 5'11), but has remarkable ability to track the ball in the air and catch it at its highest point. He's struggled with drops in his career and may not run sub-4.4, but is a definite first-day possibility.

I would love it. a real down field threat. I have questions on his speed because some highlights he looks like a rocket and others the corners are right with him. have to wait for the combine.

Even though AB is beast sometimes, the thing I dont like about him as a downfield threat is he's not too fast and he has little to no separation moves. He's just real big and makes some great freakin catches.

He might be a good option for 2b.

I'm hoping he doesn't work out well and slides to 2b or even 3. I don't think he will run a blazing forty and he will measure in as smaller than listed so it is possible.

John Galt?

Is he a wide receiver or potato based snack food?

IIRC, Stovall was rated high when he played at ND.  Is this the second coming of Stovall like all the WR from Florida that did so well here?

That's what I was thinking...

Stovall was a beast coming out of ND and was a steal in the third round.... at the time...

Right now, he looks like he may very well be the second best WR in the draft.  I wouldn't be shocked if he didn't last to the team's 2A pick.  I also wouldn't be shocked if he did either, mind you, but I wouldn't count on him lasting to 2b.

Tate has some skills for sure but I'd like to see him catch with his hands more.  I see him body-catching quite a bit. And we all know Mike Mayock doesn't like that.

I'll be interested to see him run the gauntlet at the combine.

If we do go after a WR, I'm hoping it's Damian Williams
