Why would we want Parker?
Cause he is a work horse which we do not have on our roster. Ward is a bust Caddy is unreliable and Graham isn't getting his carries.
a work horse? the has had one good season. lol

The Steelers rarely (if ever) fire their coaches.

I saw him last week but tonite was much worse. I feel bad for him.

As for Morris, dude wants Suh too. 1-15 baby!!

Well don't feel too bad. He already has 2 rings and the Steelers will probably be back next year lol.

If this is in reference to Tomlin...how does he have two rings?

Clearly the Steelers HC from last season is much better than Tomlin. That coach managed to win a Super Bowl with that team. This year? Losers. Their HC this year stinks!

My wife is from PGH and is a huge fan so conversely I have been following them closely for a few years.

A few main points on why they have been losing games.

One: In my opinion Troy Polomalu Is the best player in NFL and that defense is not the same without him playing healthy and teams have taken advantage.

Two: The Steeler's O-line has been horrible for two solid seasons especially in pass protection. They won the super last year on Big Ben's ability to keep plays alive with his legs. Even so he still took a **CENSORED** load of sacks last year.

This year teams just don't respect the run and the go all out for Ben focusing on Pinning his arm. Also Remember last year they won a ton of close games, Like 6 or 7 games by 3 points or less. I think they won 3 or 4 games in OT last year. This year they have lost all the close games and the OT games.

Just show's in the NFL there is a very Fine line between a championship team and mediocrity.  A Few players out change everything.

Tomlin is safe, They have skill position players they just need to draft some O-line help int he 1st and 2nd round and get Troy healthy and they will be fine next year.

I realize that. I'm not sure that's applicable. Most "ring" conversation focus on the head coach only.

Would people consider Andy Reid having a "ring"?

I get where your going here. But.. if he physically has a ring, than people would consider him "ringed".

I'm starting to feel the same way about Polamalu. We all knew he was great, but when he's been out this year the difference has been night and day.

I understand what your saying but I'd bet we'd find a ton of conversation which included allusions to Reid not having a ring (I'm only using him as an example..I'm sure there are other examples) while Dungy and Gruden do...or something like that.

He got a super bowl with the bucs. He was our secondary coach remember.

I understand that.

Then theoretically Raheem has one also. I'm really not sure this is where people are going when they reference head coaches as having rings.

The Polamalu Effect is much like the Bob Sanders Effect except the Colts are at least still doing pretty well. They did much even though when Sanders returned for the game and change that he did this year.

Really think about,  Tomlim went into to a excellent team, he really just had to stay out of the way. Now let's see how good a coach he is.

Gas $4 a gallon, Thank you all who voted for the Socialist.
