 This guy is good in coverage but he is not good at tackling. I would be dissapointed in the coaching staff I see him out there playing corner.

I already said I would be upset too.  Versus Dallas he almost broke one (Phillip).  He brings homerun skills to the PR game.  AS for his cover skills, or more importantly, his tackling skills, I agree.  It is consensus.  He is also injury prone, let us toss that into the mix (while Jones rehabs).  But he does provide depth into the secondary, maybe not as a 4-3 corner, but in a dime package he could be used.

In a five WR set, you ain't gonna see Jones out there running routes of any kind.

My point is depth is provided, although it may be very little.

Buchanon can no tackle. The Texans who need help on defense cut him and they run the same scheme the Bucs run. They already have plenty of return specialists on the team and he became expendable.

I strongly disagree with you. This guy is good in coverage but he is not good at tackling. I would be dissapointed in the coaching staff I see him out there playing corner.

You mean that you would be disappointed in the coaching staff if he were out there playing corner, and "didn't cut it". Is that what you mean?

I hope Bucannon brings this to the bucs special teams  ;

Lets just hope he covers better than he did on the Tony Romo strike.  It's hard to believe he's anyworse then their other guys at DB cause no 24 got toasted a couple times.

One more thing to think about.  At Houston, they didn't have a veteran defense with players like DB, Ronde, Q, etc that are there to help the young guys.  If PB is not a good tackler then you have to think that he will be getting lots of help with his technique.  Unless he is a total wus then his tackling can be improved.

Truths:
1.  Never have an argument with an idiot.  They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
2.  For some it would be better if they remained silent and be thought a fool than to speak and erase all doubt.

There were some other nice vid's of him on youtube too. nice return skills.  Probably won't be more than a dime back.

He's so quick and has great vision, I'd like to see him come in on Offense for a reverse.  It would be really cool to see a double reverse using Phil and Joey.

will have to look again, but I thought I saw 31 misread the ball and over run the WR letting him make the catch.

After further review I saw 31 again.  It looked like him.

Wow, that guy has speed in abundance! I hope he is the one to take it to the house from a kick off...

He sure looks like he's got some speed and moves. Anything is better than Mark Jones' inability to provide a threat.

And whoever it was that brought up Tim Brown, thanks for that nice relapse. I can still see the fair catch signal now.
