Let's not get carried away here...The sad part is the kids lost their father.  Their father that even though wealthy, didn't make an honest woman out of their mother.  A father that was in and out of trouble, and was involved in a crazy, dysfunctional domestic dispute with their un-wed mother which caused his death.  Is it sad, yea.  But don't paint the guy as some freakin saint.  He was a mindless thug, who died doing something stupid and quite possibly abusive.  If he were any other regular joe-six pack (or in his case Joe 40) you read about, he'd be given a freakin Darwin award.  Don't let the fact that he caught some touchdown passes exonerate him from who he really was, that's all I'm sayin...

Actually... People expect you not to voice this opinion hours after he died..

Actually....This is the time to highlight for all those youngsters coming up in the world to not act like this guy or you'll end up the same way. It's a sad story and one people will hopefully learn from.

I already said he wasnt a good guy..

Again, you have absolutely no tactfulness.

"Your track record, speaks for itself"...

How about you refresh me?

I meant his track record, not yours. His track record speaks volumes on how he lived his life, then to jump into a moving truck to try and stop your fiance from leaving??

Yeah, I guess I left my tactfulness at home this morning

I think so...

Listen man. I know he wasnt a great guy... But look at it from his kids... and fan perspective... Your disrepecting Chaz by coming in here with those opinions.. he obviously was  big fan..

Lets say hypothetically Warren Sapp passes away, and someone comes in his death thread and mentions how big of a jerk he was when they trie to get autographs... Is that necessary?

Getting ran over by your fiance is doing something abusive?

She was trying to leave him and he went after her.  That usually reeks of an abusive relationship.

Comparing Sapp to Henry is actually an insult to Sapp.

Sapp is a jerk who doesn't treat people nice, Henry was going getting weapons and battery charges against him.

Again, RIP Chris but dude did this to himself man.

HYPOTHETICALLY

Sapp is no way is anything like Henry.. I was just using a Buc legend as an example, in attempts to make it hit home a little harder.

Wow thanks a**holes for runing this thread. Unreal how disrespectful some of you people are.

Screw him.  I didn't know the guy.  He never did anything for me.  I wasn't even a Bengals fan.  It's not like he was some Pillar of the community worthy of being missed by the general public.  He was just another dirtbag pro-athlete.  It's disgusting the way people carry on about guys like this just because they were a celebrity.

He ran himself over with a pickup truck, why don't you just shut up and not post in this thread anymore. Go watch porn, that's all you probably do anyways.

How can you run yourself over?

Again, I was speaking about the way he lived his life for a long time, he did that to himself, and eventually the cat runs out of 9 lives.

LOL, porn?

You can make someone irrational when you disrespect someone they admired in they're death discussion.

Meanwhile Americans go about their lives without even a thought about our soldiers in harm's way.

First of all your entire post was cold and inappropriate. Secondly, the portion quoted above is the most retarded part of all. Speak for yourself. There are a lot of Americans who think of the soldiers every single day. Please go away now.

I dont think this is the place to be bashing anyone. Chris Henry was in the process of becoming a better man, and everyone should be happy in that alone. Whether he lived out the change he wanted to bring is not the issue, the issue is that he is no longer on this earth, and his kids and family have lost someone close to them. Part of this incident may have been placed because of his lifestyle, but we all make mistakes. He also may have been a problem in the NFL but death is much larger than the NFL. if he was like pacman jones where no team wants him thats fine, he will filter out of the NFL, but to say such rude things about him is not necessary.

Not necessary?  Sure it is.  I think a major problem with today's society is that for some strange reason, a dead guy suddenly becomes annointed.  Speak not ill of the dead and all that nonsense.  People carry on as if they themselves knew that guy, when in reality, he wouldn't have crossed the street to spit on any one of you.
