10 dollar toy the hit of the holiday season. Looked just about everywhere, the last month and finally found a site that has them. Not sure if its legit or not, but it is listed on the Zhu Zhu pets homepage.


Anyone else searching for these?

There was a story that was on the news about these toys having a chemical on them that was very harmful. May want to do a search for it. Not sure if it effected all of them, but just a heads up. Kids are going BONKERS over these things!

Buc Wylde:  That story was from a consumer org that retracted that story the next day due to faulty data (IF I remember right).

By then word had traveled around the world though and caused huge damage to their sales.

They did a study on them and they were confirmed safe for kids. After all the talk about the wheels burning kids hand and the chemical that was unfound.

And yes kids are going nuts over them and so are ebayers.

Glad to hear the reports were false. There are going to be a lot of kids with these things this Christmas.

Friggin' Christmas Hype toys (a la Furbies years ago amongst the many over hyped garbage toys out there) are sad...parents bending over and taking it in the rear by the hype machine and their kids...pathetic.
