http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playernews.aspx?sport=NFL&rwr=1Buccaneers Defense-TM- Buccaneers Dec. 27 - 8:57 am et NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports that the Bucs have contacted Bill Cowher about coaching the team in 2010. La Canfora reports that the Bucs have tried to gauge Cowher's interest should they replace current head coach Raheem Morris. Cowher likely sees the Glazers as owners that can meet his lofty asking price. It looks like it could be a one-and-done season for Morris in Tampa Bay.

Let me go out on a limb and say, although he is obviously 1000% better than Rah, I would choose a few guys ahead of him for HC.  There is the 3-4 issue, plus he built a good team with good talent but really took a long time to get them to the show.  I will be on board if we get him and we will definitely be improved, but I would rather see a guy like Brian Schottenheimer or Jim Harbaugh get the call.  I know they are unproven as NFL HC's, but that also means they will have more fire out of the gate and no one will know what they will be bringing.  Could be new schemes, styles, etc rather than old fashion football.  Not that I'm against a good run game and good defense as the star, but it would be nice to have a killer offense.  Plus, those guys are more likely to buy in to keeping the T-2 and using the players we have, which will mean fewer growing pains.  JMO, but glad to hear we are hunting.
