Recently saw Cape Fear for the first time in like a decade. Good movie. De Niro plays a great psycho.

Great flick!   I like that one where Marky Mark is a lunatic as well.  FEAR

We should have 2 threads.   One for under 30 years old and one for over 30.   It seems the under 30 guys on here never like any decent movies.

::)

Javachick, I probably have seen  more old film, then you or 85% of this board over 30.. So keep your belittling comments for your Indonesian ladies.. Because they are probably the only ones that put up with it.

No, I liked that one.   Lee Marvin is a bad ass.

Marvin was great in Cat Ballou. He won an Oscar for his dual roles as Kid Shalleen and Silvernose. I believe Gene Wilder based the Waco Kid character on Marvin's work.

The horse was great, too.

Munich - Steven Spielberg directed movie.. pretty dark and graphic.. but a true story and entertaining as hell

Little family history on my side:  My father was actually there when that went down and got shot at by the Terrorists!

For all you Netflix people like me, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is streaming in HD and I strongly recommend it. It is a mind-blowing movie, one of the best to come out in the last 10 years IMO.

That was an excellent movie.  So underrated it isn't even funny.

Let me suggest:  The Pursuit of Happyness.  If you haven't seen it, it's great.

Death Race 2000

Only the original version.

The new one is just called "Death Race," and it was average.

"Death Race 2000" is classic!

Not a feel good movie, in fact, it is quite depressing, but you are right, a GREAT movie none-the-less.

Depressing in parts, but the ending is very happy.  The part in the bathroom always chokes me up...
