Yes, I agree with Biggs. If you don't like something dont watch it. For me it includes every reality show and basically all programming at State run MSNBC.

Wah.  I want to see Glee season!!!

All of this is because Rupert Murdock decided that ads don't provide sufficient revenue any more for the content.  He is going to impose fees on everything he owns.  Fox.  Hulu.  And a bunch of other content oriented things we didn't even knew he owned.  This is part of the owners of these mega medias to start charging for everything we get for free now.  Just be aware that fees are 'acomin....BH wouldn't roll over because he wants another dollar/month , I believe, per subscriber and BH said no.  Then Fox started with all the advertising.  Instead of spending a fortune on full page color ads, Rupert should fund a few homeless shelters or food banks. IMHO.

I was confused about this until I looked into it. It's not Time warner or Brighthouse that are pulling the plug on Fox. It's Fox pulling the plug on Time Warner and Brighthouse. Fox either wants $1 more per subscriber per month, they currently get 30 cents per, to allow the cable companies to carry their signal. Or they want the difference of 70 cents to round out that dollar. It's 233% of what the cable providers are paying now.

Fox has the gun out on this one. If they choose to cut off their nose to spite their face, you'll be the one who bleeds.

Quit beefing about the past and start hoping for the future

They're pulling the plug on other Fox stations like Fuel, FX, some of the other major fox news station. The local one will stay.

Hopefully Fox News Channel will be pulled - if I never see O'Reilly and Hannity TV again, I couldn't be happier.

The final Buc loss will still be shown in sportsbars on the NFL ticket, I presume.

If you dont like them watch MSNBC like all the other drones

I can't be the only one who wouldn't mind paying an extra dollar a month for all the various Fox channels...

I'll be trying to find an online stream and then hooking my laptop up to my TV. If that doesn't give good results, I'll have to go to a bar/friend's house.

Fox also owns the Sun Sports and FSN...so say goodbye to the Lightning and Rays, too.

Time Warner is a bunch of morons...they still don't have the NFL network and refuse to carry it...the day Verizon became availabe in my area I put it in regardless of the cost difference...Verizon was only $20 more a month but I got more HD channels, better service, and more movie channels...yadda yadda yadda...Bottom Line, Time Warner claims to care about their customers all the while ignoring their requests for channels and services. If it wouldn't affect so many families and unemployment I would hope someone would close them down.

Time Warner never came to an agreement with the NFL Network. They are very cheap. I've been saying that I'm switching to FIOS for years. Now is the time to do it.

Who is it that forces you to watch a TV channel you don't want to watch?

More people watch Fox new programming than all your liberal networks combined.  Liberals suck.

Fox wants the extra $ from BH, and BH doesn't want to pay an extra $ to them? Tsk, tsk... Of course Fox doesn't care WHERE that extra $ comes from (current BH profits or a new charge to BH customers). You can point the finger at either one and whine, go to a sports bar that has satellite dish package, or switch to satellite dish at home.
Yeah, some time back our homeowners association talked about getting a package deal from BH that would be cheaper than subscribing to BH individually, BUT everyone in the complex would automatically be billed in their monthly maintenance fee. There are so many satellite dishes in our complex I didn't think it would happen, and it didn't; I'd have been PO'ed if it did  ;D

My wife and I only watch 3 shows on FOX on a regular basis, not counting the Bucs (NCIS, Bones and House).  And they are all on other channels as re-runs.

No loss to us.

True, but assuming it is just $1 per customer, that comes out to $4 more a month. Still not a big deal. Also, I don't think any of those networks have the bargaining power that Fox does.
