I don't think he would be an indefinate tutor here. He would help, hopefully, but I think it would be clear that when he walks in here he would be the guy and that would be the end of that. There will be a competition which he will beat Simms in and then he will have to tutor Gradkowski with NO intent for Gradkowski to play this season and  maybe not even next.

We don't have a 1st round top 5 draft pick at QB who will be breathing down his neck. Big difference I think.

It did not stop Garcia sigining in Detroit with Harrington.  And what if the Bucs do draft a QB in the top five?

Like I said something smells in Denmark. :D

After hearing that Garcia liked Tampa more than we liked him, and the Plummer thing, he was looking to land somewhere.  Now that plummer is gone, he has to like his odds of landing here.  If nothing else, having a competetive bid can up his price...

Maybe someone just gave the memo to Lane Kiffin that Al Davis likes to throw the ball deep and Garcia doesn't do that very well.

If we sign Garcia and the draft goes... CJ, Thomas, and Adams... WE ARE SCREWED!

Garcias agent didn't like the clause Big Al put in about Jeff taking Al for his daily walk and then the obligatory sponge bath. At least Garcia has principles  :o

At #4. the best players on the board will be QBs.

Why would Cleveland pick Adams ahead of Russell, Quinn, and Peterson?

Maybe Garcia learned his girlfriend would have to sit in the Black Hole with all of the crazies and he's worried about them stealing her away?  :D
I think he's doing the best thing and playing all of his options against the others to get the best price.

I don't know about Cleveland but I can see the draft going Johnson, Adams, Thomas.
