Early 80's were great, but that decade faded faster than any.

Agreed. Rap came out in the mid 80's and ruined music for good.

true but rap never hit it REAL big until all the hair metal bands fizzled, and for a brief period, until grunge hit it big, rock and roll dried up...

sad day in music history.

Anyone that gone to RJS knows that all they play is hip hop before the game. The same for the Jaguar's stadium - so why do they bring out the WHO for the Superbowl? I've never heard their music at the stadiums. I really doubt that the majority of NFL viewers could even list a couple of their songs. Ludacris or Lil' Wayne ought to do it - as long as they don't stay away from the N-word, the MF word, and don't sing about raping, killing people.

Hip Hop artists don't know how to conduct themselves.

Pretty damn good for a bunch of old guys.

You could hear the crowd singing along...

Fireworks, Stage and Lighting choreography were A+ IMO.

Dear JJ,

Not everyone can tolerate the ear bleeding "noise" you call music. Some of us choose to listen to music that generated an entire wave of new genres. Your "bands" will say they were influenced by someone from the 70s , 80s -- and try to mimic them in every way imaginable. That's why music is total garbage, nothing is new, everything is covers or stolen material turned into "something new"

Jon Gruden was overrated

"The Who" were pretty good - but they really looked old. Townshend looked like a drunk rounder from the east end...hey, wait a minute...

Daltery sounded a bit whiny in some of his solo's and his high notes didn't always screach.

I know it was taped previously - but their lip-synch was pretty good for the most part.

The music and show was great - but I couldn't stop thinking how tired they looked.
