to be honest with ya we dont have him in a corner at all, hes got over 20 mil in the bank all he will have to pay back is about 3 mil of his signin bonus, so technically we dont have him in a corner.  But i like the way you think haha

Hey Plummer I hear you talked to Lynch about Gruden. You should have talked to me about Allen.

Sincerely,
Keenan

So what?  What did we gain?  Sounds like we wasted a lot of time on this deal and walked away with nothing.

Oh heck, the usual crowd of Allen lickers is having a field day that we spent time getting and doing nothing. We "own" him but he doesn't seem to care. The funny thing would be for him to show up tomorrow and say, "Hi Bruce, where's my mother f$%^n' football check?"Then see what we can do.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

Could? Would you trade, same thing I asked in another thread, Plummer and #4 for #1 overall? Let's see the value on Jake the Fake was R4 pick. I'm just guessing w/o spending quality time on the value chart that R4 + #4 <> #1 overall.

If the QB they want could had be had at #4, and I was Al Davis, I might make that trade. It offers a short-term and long term solution for the pick if they used on a QB at #1 offers only a future solution. It also offers the advantage of giving them a few years before they have to put the new QB in. It all depends on whether or not Plummer would play for the Raiders. It does give Plummer the chance to get back at Shanahan. And Davis might do it for that reason as well.

Big "if" on that one.

There is a 1200 point variance between pick 4 and pick 1.  To cover 1200 point, in picks, we'd have to deal away 550 points for 2a, 270 for 2b, Pick 3 is 250 and round 4 is 104, meaning if we made that deal we'd be 26 points short of a pure matchup. Plummer alone isn't nearly enough even if you think he's worth a high R2 pick.

I wonder if the people who think that we were lucky we lost the coin toss still think that? It would make this trade a lot more feasible. With CJ and JT there, the third pick would still have left them with whichever QB they wanted at #3.

TAKE THAT **CENSORED**ING CHART AND CRAM IT RIGHT UP....

if oakland wants to compete now, they need a veteran qb... who is left???

trade for plummer and we all know one of the two qbs will be there at #4. screw the stupid chart.
