With news of Garcia signing, Jake Plummer possibly playing and we own his rights if he does, Simms under contract with 4 years experience, and Tim Rattay still a possibility; the Buccaneers now have a great situation at quarterback the next 2-3 years!!  ;D

Can you say.......................bye bye Gradkowski.

Jake Plummer will never play a down for the Bucs IMO.

Plummer, Eugene, and Rattay will never be seen in a regular season game uniform.

And I would expect Gradkowski to beat out McCown.

Don't know who "Eugene" is, and hopefully we never have to see Grads take a snap again and I have never liked his style or size from day #1.

We will see... I think McCown has something to prove.

He's a QB on our roster...

You don't know who Bruce Eugene is? The best QB in Grambing history, whom Doug Williams recruited. And we know Chrispy you knew he would blow since day one, you knew Tom Brady was a stud since HS...

Well Canes, I'd say they're going to have to fight teeth and nail (especially if Carr is dealt here) for that third slot....should be exciting, not sure if we'd carry four QBs or not. I think Bruce having started games for us may have the edge though I came away more impressed with McCown 2005 pre-season than Simms.

So to re-cap we have:

Garcia - a guy that played half a season and is 38 next year.

Plummer -  a guy that benched for a rookie and he  wants to retire.

Simms - a perennial under-achiever in a system that doesn't seem to suit him

Yes our QB slot is set in concrete for a decade.....glad you feel warm inside about it Chrispy

You can bank that we will only keep 3. 4 would be way to excessive.

Chrispy is the biggest name chaser on these boards..he probably went crazy when Tim Brown was brought in thinking we were getting Tim Brown in his prime.

Yeah MJS Garcia played really horrible last year - uhhhh huh, and we never really got to see Simms get on any kind of a roll since he was on IR after week #4. And I am supposed to know this Eugene guy who is probably #2-3 on the depth chart for our......................PRACTICE SQUAD.  ::)  :-

Ether I was watching and cheering for Tim Brown at Notre Dame when you were still peeing in your diapers, and fully knew that he was at the END of his career when he got here.  ::)
