It's really becoming evident now that our beloved franchise is run by people who want to win but don't want to do anything to make themselves win except wait for players that come the same way to every team....the draft.  I can understand not wanting to pay mediorcre talent millions for their play, but when our team is 3-13 we really have nothing to lose. We have one of the youngest teams in the NFL and have evaluated everyone on our roster. We know their talent level. Antonio Bryant, our number one receiver has been let go to free agency leaving us with Clayton, Stovall and Stroughter. Of all of the WR's that hit FA, our names haven't even been in the equation. Teams say one thing and do another all of the time.  Why isn't this free agency period one of them? WR is a major need for this team and for the development of our future "FRANCHISE" quarterback.  Why hasn't the talent been put in place around him?  Boldin is gone, Burleson is gone and there are a lot of rumblings that Marshall will be a Seahawk.  If we do not aquire a WR in free agency, how is Freeman going to succeed in this league? We know they're not going to pick Dez Bryant with the #3 pick. Either way, we're going to pick one up in the draft but that leaves us with a rookie WR , Clayton, Stovall and Stroughter as our go to guys.  WTF is going on here? Please someone tell me if I'm right or wrong.

Looks like they're buckling down for the lockout. We are gonna suck for at least three years. May as well just accept it at this point. Although I sure as hell won't be giving them any of my money.

What you do is throw down a few gold coin in your yard and in the middle of the night they'll come.

Not happy at all with the Glazers.... Truthfully, about half the league or more are buckling down right now. Look at how many NFL players were left exposed to the market this year.

It is a new day in TAMPA BAY!    GO BUCS!!

What should we be all happy and excited about?  Sorry I'm not naive and turn the cheek like everything is ok.  We took a quarterback in the first round, make good on the investment and put people around him that will groom him properly.

If I was in a position this year to renew tickets, I probably would not.

We finished the season strong (inluding beating the superbowl champs). That was the last good thing to happen. Now we must wait for the next good thing to happen. Could be any day as a trade or FA signing... or it could be at draft time.

My point is... theres plenty of whining on this board already... and whining doesn't do any good anyway. Things aren't as bad as some of you make it seem. I swear some of you are such drama queens.

Since when is being a 3-13 football team a reason to be happy? Do you work for the Bucs?

Are you serious? You took my post and spun it into something I didn't even come CLOSE to saying. Did I say our season record is a reason to be happy? No. All I said was there have been good things that have happened and there will be more to come.

Tell that to the Gruden and Dungy bashers.  It worked out for them.

It is ridiculous and unacceptable that the Bucs couldnt rebuild this team and make them a perennial playoff contender in one year...
