WR Combo in the second RD?

Hey... If we grab Suh with the first pic. And Dez does slip to 2a. Would you consider still grabbing Thomas/Tate at 2b? Maybe have a WR corps like the Cards used to have.

I dont think dez is gonna slip to 2A, i wish, but i dont think he will, somone is going to bit the bullet before the 20th pick. I wouldnt mind grabbing Tate or Shipley later in the 3rd. I think Freeman needs recivers who can contribute right away (good hands and good route runners) as opposed to guys who we have to devolp (Benn/Thomas)

No way Tate falls to 2b IMO, let alone the 3rd. Many people have him as a mid to end 1st rounder. He is considered by many as the 2nd best reciever in the draft, and with teams always looking to improve at key positions I just don't see it happening.

yes if Dez falls to 2a and we pick him, I would still be good with picking D. Thomas at 2B...but i'd say the chances of that happening are pretty low

2a and 2b are going to be big. With the new draft format, the 2nd round begins the start of day two. Each team will get a chance to reset their draft boards based on who fell out of the 1st round, and with two picks in the top 10 of the second round we should make out nicely if our FO is worth a damn. Hopefully all goes well.

And there really isn't a receiver I like in the second round, much less 2.  If WR weren't such a glaring need, I'd say no to picking one in the first 3 rounds period, but since we have a throw away pick, then, yea, we can gamble on a guy like Benn at 2b.  Unless Tate falls, then he's worthy of a 2a pick.

His speed is fine but he's also under 6 foot.   I'd be more comfortable with taking Thomas or Benn over Tate.

I dont think a team is going to take Dez before Tate in the draft. Tate is a great prospect, but hes not quite a sure first first rounder. Majority of mocks have him at the top of second Thomas' stock is rising a lot recently, alot of teams are high on him. Tate falling to us on the top of the second may happen.

The bucs are in an intersting spot at reciver. We are in rebuilding mode, but need immedite help because we sat out of free agency, im pretty sure reggie brown is not the answer.

2a. Hughes
2b. D. Thomas
3. Shipley

...would you mind doubling up WR right there, getting a developing possible #1 and a solid route-running #2 to pair with a slot in Sammy?

I wouldn't draft Dez Bryant id he was there in the 5th.

I'd love to see us get Damyius Thomas and Damian Williams in the 2nd though.

Make more sense to just grab one of those two in the second round, and then get Taylor Price or Jordan Shipley in the 3rd.

I would b okay with that. But i would rather drop the devolpmental reciver and pick up a corner or SS. I like Rah's coaching on defense, he just doesnt have the players to get it done
