The timing of Mike Bellotti's resignation seems su**CENSORED**ious to say the least. What's going on OBF?

Haha no. Bellotti went to Bristol in late Janurary for a tour. After doing broadcast for OSN (duck games) many people saw it coming because he was so good at it. Plus he had to go now because they want him to do the spring games (think Auburn). Did the incidents make his decisions easier? Probably. Would he have gone regardless? yes.  ESPN got a great hire. I would watch the Oregon re runs via there channel just to hear Bellotti commenting on the game. The guy will give the viewers a perspective nobody at ESPN does, when calling the games. Plus Bellotti has stated he wasnt a big fan of the AD job, he hates firing people, and many people said he couldnt stand dealing with the school presidents etc when it came to money.

Bellotti will do this Im guessing for 1-2 years than back to coaching.

It seems that the su**CENSORED**ion is that at the very least, Bellotti was nudged out the door as AD. Maybe the same happened when he stepped down as football coach.

He never like the AD job. He interviewed for other jobs ouside the AD from different schools as well as broadcasting. He was more nudged from coaching IMO, because everyone knew Chip Kelly would leave if Bellotti stayed. Good trade off. Good Luck to Mike.

Thuggery.

Richt should kick all of them off of the team if any of it is true.

Agreed, Georgia is well known for their football players getting into all sorts of trouble.  The Vann's should get the van driver to make a statement and if it is true, Richt should throw those 4 scumbags off the team if he has any guts at all.

Nice spin. Think what you want, but this payoff raises MAJOR red flags about how the Oregon Athletic Department is run.

glad you care more than any Oregon fan who will pay the package. I have yet to meet anyone who cared about this story. Oregon donors not Michigan donors will pay.
