I'll probably go watch it. It's funny because last Friday or Saturday I got home a little late and the original Clash of the Titans was on, so I had to stay up and watch it! Really campy by today's standards, but it was fun to watch it again.

Getting horrible reviews so the chances to outperform Avatar are slim to none.

I guess it all depends on what your expectations are.  Like most flicks, I'll probably wait and buy it on DVD.

Who all is looking forward to the new movie "Clash Of The Titans", a remake of the original. This Sam Worthington guy came out of nowhere, he's starred in recent lead roles in mega hits like "Terminator Salvation"," Avatar" and now "Clash Of The Titans" which looks like it's going to be a big hit. These 3 movies alone(mainly thanks to Avatar) would probably make him the box office king of actors in a leading role.  I hope this movie outperforms "Avatar", the only thing going for it was it's visuals and 3-D. Actually though, I didn't get to see it 3-D, but still that's not what makes a movie great. The storyline does, which is what it was lacking(Avatar). Man I'm getting a bit off topic. Anyways, I can't wait to see COTT, it's going to be Bas Azz.

the original was so good for me as a kid.  I watched it at least twenty times.  It got me into Greek Mythos.

I never go by the movie reviews. I don't know how many movies I've seen that I've liked end up getting bad reviews. It's the same with movies I've seen that have gotten great reviews. When im watching a movie that has been called "breathtaking", or a "masterpiece", and I'm sitting there watching it like, huh?

The original was better than this one.   I went and saw it last night in 3D.   Nothing special at all.   I wouldn't recommend it.

Agreed.   Worst 3D I've ever seen.   It's not really 3D.

Watching the movie in 3d is a big waste of money. Except for probably 2 or 3 scenes, you didn't even use the 3d glasses.

As for the film itself, the trailers pretty much showed about half of the battle scenes. It had so much potential but they really tried to fit too much into a 2 hour window. The only interesting thing that came out of that movie is the trailer for Expendables.

Sam did an excellent job in TS imo.

I'm already sick of the guy.   I don't want to see any more movies with him.

Sam did an excellent job in TS imo. He's probably the better guy for this role also.

 I hear he's going to be in the next terminator movie (although, I'm not sure how that is going to happen seeing how the ending went).

He's nothing special and I've seen him in too many movies lately.
