that was just way too much to give up for a player that has as many off the feild issues as he has. [banghead]

I find it interesting in the light of the Jets/Dolphins making aggressive moves this off season the Patriots are quietly preparing for the draft.
Robert Kraft is cheap and doesn't want to win.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

Per Adam Schefter on Twitter: Filed to ESPN: Brandon Marshall is going to be traded to the Miami Dolphins for a second-round pick this year and another pick next year.

Depending on what the other pick is, good move for them. Parcells will keep Marshall in line.

Quit beefing about the past and start hoping for the future

Depressing for a Buc fan to see another quality WR move and we're nowhere to be found despite our glaring need.

Quit beefing about the past and start hoping for the future

Good for them they will still be out of the playoffs though. Funny how a few years ago the Patriots walked through that division every year because the Bills, Jets & Dolphins were a joke now the Jets & Dolphins are two of the better run teams in football. Hopefully the Bucs can make the same kind of turnaround in a few years. But 2 2nd round picks for Marshal is just too much to give up.

Not only 2 second round picks but PFT is reporting that he is expected to sign the most lucrative wide reciever contract in league history.  All things considered, getting him here had about a zero percent chance of happening.

No it's not.  We should be more upset by this non move than the Bolden or Holmes non moves.  He is a top 5 WR in the league and young.  His skill set would have been a good fit for us.

GREAT TRADE FOR MIAMI DOLPHINS.

2 round picks for Marshall would have been a good move.

Don't try to rationalize it fans....it is what it is...

Good deal for both teams.  Dolphins have the people in place to keep BM in line off and on the field......not sure he deserves to be the highest paid reciever in the NFL but he is definetly top 10.

People always overvalue draft picks vs proven NFL players. History is that R2 picks are 50-50 so you are, in reality, saying we'll trade you one NFL player for another and the odds are that NFL player won't be as good as Marshall. Here are, for a quick compare, the Ravens (to pick a good drafting team so people can't say we suck) R2 picks for the last decade.

Paul Kruger
Ray Rice
Chris Chester
Dan Cody
Dwan Edwards
Anthony Weaver
Gary Baxter

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.
If you think Manziel is the best QB in this draft I can safely assume you are an idiot and will treat you as such.

Don't be upset that we didn't get a top 3 receiver in the league.  We traded for Reggie Brown?

A player in the hand is worth three in the draft.
