Depressing for a Buc fan to see another quality WR move and we're nowhere to be found despite our glaring need.

No it couldn't have happened. There is a reason it didn't.

Why not? Last I checked we had a 2nd and 5th rounder available to trade.

Last I checked we don't have owners who will pay these guys.

Pat Bowlen is cheap and doesn't want to win.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

Then why even follow this team? This isn't MLB and the Bucs aren't the Devil Rays...though now it feels like it. We can't do anything without spending money. Until they do, we will be a sub .500 team.

This is infuriating!

Sorry if you think I'm not going to watch games because the owners suck. Gas no bearing on me being a Dan of the guys on the field doing what they can with what they have

If this is true then it's a pretty infuriating lack of movement by our FO. I can understand not going after Holmes as the guy is a mug shot away from being out of football for a long time. It seems that the best we can do is possibly get Ginn from teh Dolphins, i'd rather we snuck in and outbid the Fins for Marhsall.

...and there went the last chance to get Freeman a legit #1 receiving threat.  It's tough enough for the guy to play against NFL defenses on Sunday's... but this guy is also up against his own front office... kinda pathetic.

2 second rounders for a proven WR? Yah....way too much says the staunch defenders of the front office. You've got to be kidding me?

Where building through the draft! Sure and how's our track record on the draft in the last 5 years? How many draft picks have been to the pro bowl versus how many are bagging my groceries?

Some folks will find a way of trying to polish a turd till it gleams.... a turd is still a turd. The front office has zero desire to spend what it takes to put a winner on the field plain and simple!

I expect within the next hour there will be a PR story with a headline that goes something like this..."Bucs never pursued Marshall"

Every other team in the league must not want to win... Rams, Lions, Chiefs, Browns, Packers, Vikings, Colts... ALL of those teams could have made the deal... but they didn't.

Ohh and if this is the case, then no the Glazers do not want to spend, they are too heavily invested in the kickball team.
