In Super Bowl XXIII, Oakland Raider safety Jack "The Assassin" Tatum hit Dallas Cowboy receiver Lance Rentzel so hard that some weeks afterward, he began driving around grade schools with no pants on and was ultimately caught by police.

That's funny.

Cool stuff, are they all true ?

IDK? Maybe?

Some are a bit odd. Still, some are pretty funny.

"At one point during their 1980 Super Bowl season, 31 players on the Los Angeles Raiders 40-man roster were convicted felons."

And we worry about troubled players?

I know a computer chip will be put in footballs durring the superbowl. That part is true.

The logo was wrong in SB 29. I read about that in a legit mag.

When Joe Namath won there was alot of talk that they dealt with the mob. That was also in headlines at one time.

I think this is BS though.... "The total weight of a team's cheerleading squad is counted toward the maximum equipment weight allowed for any team."

Huh?? Does that mean their cheerleaders would be better off fat? lol.

The NFL estimate that upwards of 100 children are conceived every year at tailgate parties in the Super Bowl parking lot. Now that's a sport.

Why do you necessarily have to be wrong just because a few million people think you are?

The first known combination of the words "super" and "bowl" dates to a third-century Chinese writer who happened to be named Lom-Ba-Di.

Very strange coincidence

Glancing at the list, a lot of these seem made up.

There wasn't a thing called media scrutiny or the wrath of Goodell back then. Everyone just looked the other way when it came to politician, celebrity and athlete indiscretions.

I know some of those are true, but some are obviously fake.
