Anybody heard of Rick Santorum raise your hands, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!
If you've never heard of Santelli, you must have your head in the sand and not follow financial situation whatsoever.
I remember the day Santelli riled everybody up with his comments in front of the CBOT guys. It was a very small group of traders that were present. He DID mention the Tea Party but I don't think he's the one who started all of the protests. But he played a role. But deserve some credit.
Congrats to Rand Paul.

Statement on Ron Paul and “Tax Day Tea Partiesâ€
ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As activists across the country hold national tea parties, Campaign for Liberty president John Tate issued the following statement:
“The concept of the modern day Tea Party began on December 16, 2007 when supporters of Ron Paul’s presidential campaign came together and raised over $6 million online in one day. The tremendous success of that event lead activists in the freedom movement and members of the Campaign for Liberty to begin planning today’s Tax Day Tea Parties.

Now, as the tea-party movement his comments sparked reaches into every political race in the nation, Santelli’s getting credit for his role. “I still think that all the dynamics that I felt as it was happening are still in place today,†says Santelli, who wants to add one new element: heavy-handed government reform of healthcare.
