Gallery is a really bad example.  He has short arms and his footwork is suspect.  JT is a much better player and he will dominate at LT for years.

Every scout said RG was the best they have seen.

No they didn't, the length of his arms was a concern for the tackle position.

Thomas is every down.  Johnson is not eery down.  Thomas wins in a landslide.

Put it this way, if the BUcs pass on JT to take CJ, I will think Gruden has gone mad...

The funny thing is we were hearing all the same crap about BMW a couple of years ago, and look how he turned out.

If both are available, You take Joe Thomas, the chances of success with the pick are alot higher than with a WR, at least imo

Thomas hands down.

TO = on his 3rd team
Moss = on his 2nd team....that is looking to trade him

How many LOTs of that caliber do you see getting traded or even on the FA market each year?  WRs are out there every year.....no matter how rare their talent.

Truths:
1.  Never have an argument with an idiot.  They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
2.  For some it would be better if they remained silent and be thought a fool than to speak and erase all doubt.

Thats bull and you know it. Orlando Pace was on a level all his own, his athleticism, agility, and him getting Heisman votes were, and still are, absolutely unheard of. Making up BS does not an argument make, guy....

Calvin Johnson over Joe Thomas. We just signed Luke at Left tackle,we already got a RT in Trueblood. Clayton is???Stovall is??? Galloway is a hammy away from calling it quits.. Plus IMO TB has no intention in benching Petitgout, since they loved what they saw on tape with him...+ Joe Thomas concerns me how he uses his long arms

If we draft Joe Thomas we could slide Petitgout to left guard pretty easily, because he has experience playin there.

I believe that LT is a far more valuable position than WR, and I understand that we will never be able to land a top 10 LT in free agency, while top WR's are sometimes available. Despite all of this, I have CJ ahead of JT on by board. I believe that in 5 years CJ will be a top 3 WR and JT will be an above average LT.

CJ makes your WR corps better and perhaps marginally improves your QB play and run game. JT makes your whole offense better: running game, passing game, QB play, everything.
