Grimm is so small...he will really have to bring the pain if he wants to make it in the NFL...IMO...

I wouldn't be surprised if Grimm is the most tenacious tackler at training camp.

Something the BUcs lack.  Tackling.

Seems like an age ago when the Bucs had absolutely stellar team tackling.

I just think Grimm is too small, and will always be a special teams guy.

He is around the average size and measurables for a safety in the NFL, size is not an issue for him. You have to love what your hearing about his instincts and ball skills, he has a nose for making game changing plays.

Meh.  He is in the NFL now, is playing a different position, and is small (ish).  I highly doubt we hear much of him in the future.  Just a hunch.  The BUcs have Lynch (who is a ball hawking/play maker/proven on STs) type of player as well.  Throw in Tanard, Jones, and Piss, and well...doesn't look like much more than PS for him.  He is really going to have to blow up practices.

Boid....6'1" 205lbs is not small for a safety. He's a 21 year old rookie and will obviously get a little more chisseled and lose some baby fat, but Ed Reed is 5-11 200lbs, ans Polomalu is 5-10 205lbs. He was small for a LB. He is not small at all for a safety.

Yes. Grimm will look slightly bigger and less cut.

His daddy is a HOFer. Not to mention, I think he has a shot to be a good player on ST this season

Dude, Polamalu benches 400 pounds, squats 600 pounds, weighs 212 pounds by some accounts, runs a 4.3, and has a 43 inch vertical.

Let us stop this nonsense about "heart".

Polamalu is not just heart.  He is NFL strong, NFL fast, and has intenisty and heart.

And I promise if you put Grimm and Troy side by side, you would see a noteable difference in stature.

You cannot be this serious about "heart"?  Polamalu is a physical freak.  And when he is on the gridiron, you never go "That guy looks tiny"...you go, "That guy is a beast!"

JDouble, go get your Huggins/Grimm videoclips, and go wild with them...ha ha ha!

Proved me wrong?  Please.  Do you even watch the NFL?

35  Grimm, Cody  S 6-1 203 23 R  Virginia Tech
41  Lynch, Corey  S 6-0 206 25 3  Appalachian State
27  O'Hanlon, Matt  S 5-11 200 24 R  Nebraska
36  Jackson, Tanard  S 6-0 200 24 4  Syracuse

These four safeties in camp are almost identical in size. Tanard is the best safety we have and plays both positions. Official heights and weights from Buccaneers.com           http://www.buccaneers.com/team-and-stats/roster.html

Grimm was considered too small to play LB in the NFL like he did in college. Nobody is questioning whether or not he has the size to play S in the NFL. If he doesn't make it as a safety, size won't be the reason IMO.

Mike Glennon
6\' 7\" 220 pounds.
6\' 6\" 210
6\' 5\" 200
6\' 4\" 190 6\' 3\" 180 6\' 2\" 170 6\' 1\" 160  6\' 0\" 150 How does he compare to your favorite QB?

Grimm's dad was in the NFL, so i think that helps him get in the news, right?

BIG MAC AND BIG SACK!
