Of all the players in the NFL, they mention Penn as one of the TOP in the entire league.  And these are impartial guys, not Buc fans.  That speaks volumes.

It tells you a lot when the guy mentioning Penn talks about how well Penn played vs. Peppers.  The problem with that is Peppers went up against Trueblood the vast majority of the time.

LMAO @ Jamie Dukes

It wasn't just Dukes.  The other 2 guys agreed with him.

LMAO @ Jamie Dukes

This is what Dukes said,

"He has done damage versus , arguably the best pass rusher in this league in Julius Peppers. This guy has done a fantastic job against him."

This is what Scott Reynolds said in a 5/14/10 article about Penn...

http://www.pewterreport.com/articles/view/7030

"Penn has earned the reputation of becoming one of the league’s elite pass protectors, shutting out the likes of Minnesota’s Jared Allen, New York’s Osi Umenyiora, Carolina’s Julius Peppers and Dallas’ DeMarcus Ware among others over the past three seasons."

Scott Reynolds know what he's talking about, Biggs?

so who shutout the elite pass rushers that were mentioned?  Penn or Trueblood?  Had to be one of them...how is our line so average if the "elite" get shutout?

When specifically talking about Peppers, no, for 2 reasons:

1.  Julius Peppers plays the majority of the time against the opposing team's Right Tackle.
2.  In the last 3 starts vs. the Buccaneers, Peppers has 4.5 sacks - which isn't shutting him out.  Most of those, if not all, were probably on Trueblood.

Penn is a stud.   If the Bucs don't pay him, Freeman will suffer.

Pay that man!!! (deion sanders voice)

I just can't see my boy Tebow playing in any other jersey except the ol' Bucs.  If someone else ends up stealing him from us I will have a hard time staying a hardcore Bucs fan for life.

Because they get abused by scrubs?

been telling everyone that Penn is a good player. Take care of him.
When he bolts eventually, we will shuffle no-names into his position for the next 5 years trying to find someone as good.

Again, if he's so good offer to trade him to any number of teams for their not top 5 OL and see how that works out for you.

Top 5 OL don't get fat and abused.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.
If you think Manziel is the best QB in this draft I can safely assume you are an idiot and will treat you as such.

Jamie Dukes, Warren Sapp, PR and all the others have no clue what they are talking about. What do they know about football or offensive line play? They are not professional forum posters, they have no clue. Penn is a fat bum and he should just be released. Dotson is a future HoF and needs to be the uncontested starter now!
