Any chance we could see the Bucs plug D. Watson at the MLB for competition purposes? He carry's almost the same size as Ruud (D.Watson-6'2"/240, Ruud-6'2"/ 241).

I know he weighed 240 lbs at the Combine, which is pretty good for a MLB, but I just don't see him having the right build. His lower body is comparatively small which causes me to question how well he could stand up running backs. I think he's only a OLB candidate.

He should be a good contributor on Special Teams this year.  Much like Geno Hayes when he was starting out.

I think all draft picks will make team this year.  Maybe 1 or 2 to the practice squad, Grimm and Lorig.

I know. Hopefully we'll take care of that in the 2011 draft.

Watson is a 220 lbs guy. He was all thru college, and he was a week after the combine at his pro day. I don't know how he got upto 240lbs for the week of the combine, but he is a 220lbs guy.

I'd love to see Dekoda develope into a great LB for us, and I think when we released Crowder it guaranteed Watson a spot on the roster this year, but I'd say he will likely only be a special teams player this year and maybe next. I wouldn't expect him to challenge anyone at LB untill atleast his third year. He has loads of potential, but he is very raw and stinks in coverage.
