The call was a joke!!!  How anybody can look at that tape and say that the ref was correct is beyond me.

I disagree Snook.  USF would have won IMO had they not reversed the call.  It was at this point that the Knights got fired up.
DISGUSTING THAT A REF CHANGES THE OUTCOME OF A GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

The USF player has the ball in his left hand.  The Rutgers player knocks it loose and the USF guy reaches with his right to try and reclaim the ball.  How is that intentional?  Whatever your opinion is on this, there's NO WAY that video is conclusive enough to overturn the call.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying USF would've won with that TD, but it was a pretty big momentum changer.

What about the crappy officiating in the USF game?

Seriously...  That call on the fumble was ridiculous.  There was NO conclusive evidence to overturn the call on the field (TD).

It appears that the official change the outcomes of games so that certain teams win.  Is it any wonder that nobody wanted USF #2 and all the calls went aginst them?  It is a shame.

If they don't reprimand that ref somehow, that call will really set an unfair precident for punt teams.

College officiating is pretty bad no matter which conference you watch.

True.  But, in my opinion, the ACC refs are the worst hands down.  They take FOREVER to make easy calls and NEVER let ticky-tack stuff go.

And while I'm complaining, I'll go ahead and say that I think the SEC officials are some of the best - as a whole.

Watch ANY ACC game and you'll agree that the ACC refs are BY FAR the worst in the country.

It sure makes the conference look pretty bad to be ntional TV back to back nights and have horribly blown calls play at least a partial role in the outcome.

What a joke.  They blew several calls on USF and then last night allowed a TD for UCONN when the player obviously signaled for a fair catch.  Now all of a sudden the player has to wave his arm more than once??  Had the Louisville player tackled him you can bet there would have been a penalty called for interference with the receiver.
Here's hoping they award a big east crew to ref the national championship game!

That's what makes it so bad; had he done that, then would they have thrown the flag??  God, that has to be grounds for suspension as a referee.  As a high school coach, I have had plenty of run-in's with refs and the problem is that they don't forget you.
