Strato, what brand of strings do you prefer? I just got into playing/learning. I have a 1976 Alvarez 5014 acoustic and a cheap yamaha electric.

I wear the moniker with pride!

I use Curt Mangan and Snake Oil Brand strings on my electrics and Elixer nanowebs on my acoustics. If you don't play a whole lot - I think D'Addario is a good value string. GHS are also good.

What year Tele is that? I love my guitars a lil wore out. I don't prefer my women that way, but for git's, it's quite alright.

Its made by a guy in St. Louis (K-Line Guitars). I'm not sure quite how hold it is - I'd guess just a few years. He does a great job of making the relicing look real -  and not like it lost a fight with a belt sander. It plays like a dream, and sounds great.

How many hot chicks do the Guitar Hero players pull, though? :)
You have a pretty good chance of landing a hottie if you play the instrument for real -- signed, Ric Ocasek.

1250.00 shipped.  If you go through a dealer they are around 1600.00 If you order direct from K-Line, a few hundred more - but you can order ANY option you want - wood, finish, neck, pickups. At these prices you get a guitar the equal or better than the Fender Custom Shop at less than half the price. He built my red Strat last year and its fantastic. Highly recommend Chris.
