i dont expect him to roam sidline to sideline anymore, but i expect him to make routine tackles.  how about when the scrub FB trucked him for a TD in the ATL game?

I have a feeling DB feels the worst about that missed tackle and likely will get a lot of crap in the film session. Agree you've got to make that tackle and if DB can't anymore, than someone else should be playing that can. No man is bigger than the team if he's not contributing.

with the exception of the INT return against ATL(you could have timed him with a sundial) that was called back, he hasn't made a play all year.

The whole defense took their turn whiffing on Westbrook.  This "speed" defense is sure having their hands full with speed runners.

i dont want him benched, but the team is said to be really high on Winborn. If that is the case, its time to platoon those two to keep brooks fresh and get winborn some playing time.

Maybe it's time for Monte to have "the talk" with DB. Appreciate everything he's done in a marvelous career, but that talk is going to come at some point and maybe that time has come.

its sad to see your fav players get old.    as buc fans we have have been blessed/spoiled by having a top 10 unit for the past decade.  the core players on that unit are in their thirties and its showing up on the field.  the youth movement on defense is long overdue.
