He was way late out of his three point!Did free have to run for his life...hell yes!

Penn still needs work, but I am glad he is with the team now, because without the reps he would be way behind to insert into the starting line up game day of the first regular season.

Face it, Penn had a major handle on the Bucs as he was the only starting caliber LT we have on the team and he forced the Bucs to pay him due to the lack of talent along the offensive line.

You say Penn sucks but yet Freeman seemed to do just fine out there with him there. In the end if Freeman is on his game he only needs to provide about 3-5 seconds of blocking to let the play run. Its a team game and Freeman didn't get sacked which is the most important thing.

Let me add that, by the third game, we shall have a very good gauge of where Penn is, as I suspect the team will play the starters for an entire half, or maybe at least multiple offensive series?

Penn is not EARNING his check!
His footwork is very poor!
His weight is way to high!!!
And he is very WEAK!
All things he has direct control over!
Free will not last the year if he keeps playing like that!
By the way a sloppy field favors the O lineman so nice try but fail;!
