Yup Tebow still has that long delivery! I can't believe some of the people that say he is better than Freeman. And that they would rather have Tebow over Freeman. What are you guys nuts!

He still has time to devolp, but it really looks like that motion is going to kill him.

I'm sure I'll end up saying something very similar in that Suh vs Pittsburgh thread...

It's his first experience ever with the NFL. If you think you can even begin to make a conclusion about his career based on one preseason game, you're a complete moron. And I think we all knew Tebow would be a work in progress anyways, which makes this thread even more useless.

I'm interested in seeing Ryan Mathews after this game, is he healthy?

Also, Brady Quinn looks like **CENSORED**... still. lol

Im talkin about his throwing motion nubcake and how he is supposedly changed it and what not. But it still looks long and slow to me.  With that delivery he will never be a successful QB in this league. Unless maybe he had  an o-line in which every player was a pro bowler. Yes its his first game but that delivery will not change.

His motion is a lot better than it used to be, and it's not that far off from the NFL standard. It's something that will come in time, and it's silly to expect it to change over night.

Besides, despite having a mediocre performance he still managed to have 2 potential TD passes(both dropped) and still ran for one. He'll be fine.

At the same time, I'll agree that anyone complaining about us not taking him is stupid. Freeman was a first round pick with a large contract, you don't just throw that away. Especially after a season which showed a ton of potential.

He looked better than I thought he would.
Inconsistent delivery and too quick to leave the pocket.
Didn't seem to go beyond his 2nd receiver in his progression, but when he did throw it was pretty accurate.

Oh, and:

First game for the top 4 rookie QBs:

Bradford 6-13, 57 yards

McCoy 5-10, 25 yards, 2 INT

Clausen 8-15, 80 yards, INT

Tebow 8-13, 105 yards, TD(rush)

He also had an 87 QB rating, next highest was Bradford with 58.8
