Mike Williams is gonna be a really good WR for us.

I'm sick of Ward. Want him gone.

Kudos to Carpenter. I'd even consider giving him the #2 spot over JJ.

This year is gonna be exciting.

Go...

Biggers locked up the 3cb.

Huggins and brown are 2 and 3 on the depth chart.

Trae Williams looked good in short action.

Michael Bennett once again with a sack in a key situation. he'll be in the DE rotation.

Mike Williams = stud.

Nunn might have done enough this game to beat out Parker, Clayton and Brown

At least Johnson rebounded from a terrible game.

Carpenter did very well.

Ward is his same turd self. Hope he gets cut. Clayton stone hands as well.

Huggins is very good and will be our #2.

Carlos Brown is better then Ward.

Spurlock IS BETTER THEN CLAYTON.

Sucks to see Freeman go down and hope its minor.

First teams struggled mightly.

Mike Williams will be OROY I hope.

Benn finally showed up and thats a good thing.

Bennett got another sack which is nice to see.

Saw McCoy make a nice stop on 3rd down and got some pressure.

Quincy Black is a natural blitzer.

Nice to see few penalties and 0 turnovers.

Interesting and very good call by Raheem to take the safety.

Overall the first stringers were awful but its nice to see that the D came up big when we needed it.

*Freeman needs more reps, but healing that tip is more important.  He has good chemistry with MW, Sammie, K2, and Stovall, so not that concerned.

*Both JJ, and Carpenter, looked better in the second game, but missed some big passing plays downfield due to inaccuracy.

*The OL at the POA isn't great as a run blocking unit

*I feel comfortable with Huggins as the #2, and Carlos as the #3.  Graham is adequate for pass pro, so Ward probably ends up packing if he can't show anything by game 3.

*Spurlock probably makes the team, and Nunn/Parker are looking at PS.

*Run defense looks like a big concern, but it isn't all on the DL, as the LBs need to clean up, especially Ruud.

*Quincy Black is a natural blitzer

*Michael Bennett should be the starter LDE, and K. Moore used as utility player on the inside on passing downs.

*Biggers making plays on special teams

I am wondering would the Bucs put Nunn, and Parker on the PS?

[UPDATE:  Per Buccaneers Radio Network, Freeman has a fractured tip of his right thumb. Bucs "optimistic" he can practice this week.]

Interesting and very good call by Raheem to take the safety.

I remember seeing Shanahan make that same call once in a key Monday night game against New England years ago.

I agree, if for no other reason than that I dont think we would cut someone we traded for this offseason

I say yes, even though we are so deep at WR, we can't let these 2 guys go. Also, Clayton can almost for sure be written off of any chance to make the team.

Rudy still looks better than JJ.  Neither are ready to be a game-time backup. We should trade for Rosenfels.
Ward is toast.  Huggins looks legit enough to be a #2 at the least.  Still not sure about Brown, but we can pick up anyone to outproduce Ward.
OL needs to be seriously upgraded in the offseason.
Bennett makes it as the 4th end. Another position to upgrade in the offseason.
Dis still weak against the run.  DTs take time to develop, but we need our youngsters to grow up in a hurry.
Spurlock probably makes the  team.  Parker to the PS.  Probably Nunn too.  Clayton is gone.
Biggers looks like he might win the nickel.  Bottom of the CB depth chart is up for grabs.
If we can get any kind of pick for Sabby we should.  Grimm and Lynch are fine behind TJax and Jones.

I was disappointed to see the first team defense get gouged by the run.  I hope that it has something to do with the fact that they haven't put together the right d-line combo yet.  Whatever it is, they need to get this figured out because it's a very emasculating feeling to see another team making the Bucs look like beotches by running at will against us every week
