I dont know why people would be against it...Garcia sits on the bench he is a vet who has helped JJ before, knows Olsen, and is a decent QB even for his age. He would be cheap but I think he could aid in the development of Freeman and JJ

Now if this was Chris Sims or Bruce Gradkowski then I would say no...but Jeff I think could aid this football team. We need a vet leader who will put these kids in line

I dont know why anyone bothers sitting in the seats.

Based on the attendance at the Kansas City game, no one does bother sitting in the seats.....well, at least 36,000 of them.

I doubt the UFL would let Garcia out of the contract he just signed. Maybe, but coming back here isn't really an option.

I'd take Garcia over any scrub backup on this roster. I don't like the guy, but he's got more courage in his little toe, than JJ does in his whole body.

You'd be out of your mind if you believe JJ is a better QB than Garcia. IF he shows up for cheap, keeps his mouth shut, and helps Freeman any way he can, I'd be all for it.

On a side note: I think Carpenter is a bit better than what we have seen thus far and JJ might lose his spot sooner than we think if this Garcia thing doesn't happen anyway. Plus, it doesn't help that JJ is always shooting himself in his own foot with his stinky play. Do we NEED Garcia? No. But I would take him over JJ any day.

Gradkowski is a decent QB now. I'd love for him to be the backup here.

A lot of people hate Jeff because he's a Gruden Guy.

A lot of people also hate him because he represents a threat to Josh Johnson. I've never seen people more enamored with a guy who has done absolutely nothing noteworthy in his football life. He lit up D-2 -- but there isn't a QB in the NFL who couldn't post crazy numbers if they played that kind of schedule

I say yes to Garcia.  I like JJ's play with the Chiefs....but Garcia would win us some games....gee, I kinda miss the happy feet.  You don't get to see that too much.  Know what I mean?
