2-14 would be unacceptable.

Even Dominik says the team must perform better than last year.

Good thing we actually have to play the games and that 2-14 is just someones opinion.

I listened to this, these guys are not even doin their homework. No defensive playmakers? Tanard Jackson, Aqib Talib, Geno Hayes, Quincy Black, Gerald McCoy already commanding the double? No veterans in the receiving core? Kellen Winslow, Reggie Brown, Maurice Stovall?

Why even pay these people if they dont take the time to research what the hell they are being paid to talk about?

What's funny is that after spending all that time trashing the Bucs, they later interviewed Raheem on the show about the upcoming season. Here is the replay of that.....

It doesn't help that one of the team's most winnable games is in Week 1, where there's a good chance the Bucs will be without Josh Freeman.

anything better then 3-13 will be a win.

"Don't really have any playmakers on defense."

Tanard Jackson...not a playmaker.
Aqib Talib...not a playmaker.
Geno Hayes...not a playmaker.

They denigrate Freeman when he played on a worse team, but contributed about as well as Sanchez did.  I don't think that the Bucs are playoff-bound by any stretch, but the team will be competitive and come away with a couple of wins against quality teams. The youth will contribute to some unevenness, but this team is on the right track.

Every statement they made was "...BUT..."

Every year most of the pundits pick all the teams that won the previous year to be great again and the bad teams to be bad. It never works out that way.

2-14 for the Bucs is laughable. There is no way this football team is going 2-14 - I'll put the mortgage on that.

Shouldn't you be at work, DLT? BTW, if the Bucs don't better 2-14, I'll be by to take the home theatre before the forclose on your mortgage. You can come by my house and watch whenever you want. ;)

The only thing I agree with that Golic says is that I like the Pewter.  Period.

I think we can be a surprising team this year if our WRs can work it out and we get some pass rush.

Mike Golic is such an idiot. I can't stand that guy. Him and Jamie Dukes are the worst analysts I have ever seen. So clueless.

Let's think about it, the Bucs were 3-13 last year and made no major changes in the offseason. In the minds of people who don't follow this team, there is no reason for us to not be in that range again.

I've seen teams who stunk horribly shock people with success, most recent example is the Falcons. Remember when everyone said they were destined for the #1 pick and they end up going 11-5 and making the playoffs?

Nobody really knows what will happen, it's easy to say this team will be good or bad because they were last year. But teams suprise all the time. Not saying the Bucs will, but who knows. Maybe Freeman steps his game up, and we shock everyone. I don't think so....but who knows.

The neat thing about this, is that I'm pretty sure Tampa will have a better record than they think, thus proving their idiotic opinions.

Either way, it hypes me up all the more for the regular season to begin. I could almost thank them for being the idiots that bet against Tampa. Hopefully the players get wind of this and make something out of it.
