We'll I still hold to my prediction that there will be a new HC by the Bye week.
I think you're wrong, but for arguments sake, what brings you to that conclusion?
...If you're saying because he lost ALL the games until then? Yeah, I would normally think he gets canned too. However, there are, what, only three games until the bye week? I think that might be a little too soon, even for the Glazers. Especially after last years OC/DC embarrassment.
0-3, doesn't upset me nearly as much as 0-7, and I'm willing to say the owners should feel the same. They might have set a private deadline for success on Morris that would otherwise be our bye week. Who really knows?
The Glazers have a penchant for abrupt firings whenever they see fit, so just about anything we could come up with would probably be wrong. The Gruden firing was a shocker to me, with guaranteed years left on his contract.
Regardless, we cannot say that they won't get rid of Rah because there isn't anyone "noteworthy" to replace him. They went from Gruden to Morris, so they'll put just about anyone in there despite their credentials.
If we're going to see a firing, it's going to be after game 7 at the very least. And that's after a 0-7 losing streak. It would have to be a complete embarrassment once again for the Glazer boys to fire a HC that they have invested so much into.
We have to also appreciate (for what it's worth) the increasingly better draft picks as well. If we have gained so much better players these past two seasons, imagine what 3-4 good drafts will do. Even if Rah fails, the fact remains that the talent level should be there for anyother "good" HC to take over.
Overall, it would be just too soon in the season to fire the guy.
