What happened with Huggins?

-------------------------------------------------------

I thought Lovie said he wanted quickness & speed, even at the QB position?

Apparently he wasn't really part of the gameplan... Unfortunate because Ward had 2 nice carries back to back and I bet anything it's going to be just enough to let him hold on to the number 2 role. Frustrating.

Maybe they know Huggins is replacing Ward and they were preventing injury?

^

I don't think that will justify him keeping the number 2 job.

You would hope not... but you never know with this management.

You didn't miss too much, Hate. The oline looked horrible on the running plays, very little push and the holes were not there for the backs. Ward made 2 good runs going to the outside but all 3 backs were picking daises out of thier face masks when trying to go up the middle. Pass protection was pretty good but the rushing plays were pretty awful.

Speed & play-making ability, something this offense is sorely lacking, is not over-rated!

Zip-a-dee-do-dah is what he did. Some of the fault lies with the 3rd string OL he was out there with.

Quit beefing about the past and start hoping for the future
