spin.  they invested a high 2nd and a 5th on him.  play the guy in the preseason and let us see where he's at.

Good. Let's hope it's not all fluff by Morris.

I have a lot of confidence that Benn can be a playmaker... just look at his highlight tape on youtube... the dude has some serious ability. I can be patient with him and count our blessings that we have Williams ready to go while Benn gets the hang of things.

I'll take him at his word, but he tried to blow some smoke about Clayton last year. That didn't turn out so well. Benn hasn't done anything bad. He's just been invisible so far. I hope he surprises everybody in the games that count.

I really hope Benn can come along. I like him drawing comparisons to Boldin and if he pans out we got a nice 1-2-3 Combo in Williams Benn and Stroughter. Otherwise I really am worried we passed up the better WR (Golden Tate) and loads of talent in the 5th (Cox, Mesko, Asante, Wang) for him. It really bothers me because the 5th round  was chalk full of talent and Dominik trade up 3 spots when Benn would still have been there. I hope cooler nerves prevail in the upcoming drafts.

the fact they aren't even really getting him involved in these meaningless ps games tells me he must really be coming along slowly.  spin it however you want but that ain't a good thing.

I heard NE and a few other teams were targeting Benn. Can't assume he wouldve been there.

This is the hot topic for the week. Take the bullseye off Ruud and put it on Benn.

Ruud responded sort of.  it's Benn's turn.

Ruud is a seasoned vet though who is looking for a mega contract.

I've seen two practices and he does everything fantastic. It appears to me he is just unsure about exactly what it is he is suppossed to do.

Looks like he's feeling his way through things. It didn't help him in the last game that Carpenter was in while Benn was in. Rudy was just awful and I'm not sure any stats from when he was in really mean anything. He's not the first WR not to come flying out of the gate.

Happy and Peppy and Bursting with love.

I love how Raheem describes pretty much everyone and everything as "violent".

Gee, it almost seems as though he came from a system that didn't help to prepare him for the NFL and it's going to take him a while to learn how to play in this league, which would imply that he is indeed a project...

nah, I'm sure it's all just spin! Let's panic because he isn't picking it up even quicker than Williams!
