Forget about Thursday and Friday nights games for a moment.  There were so many calls yesterday that were bad, you could write a book about it.
Take for instance the Auburn/LSU game.  LSU has appareantly scored a touchdown, but a flag was thrown on the play for illegal formation.  Instead of announcing and marking off the penalty, they announce the play is under review to see if it was in fact a TD.  After the review, the ref then waves off the flag and confirms the TD.
It appears that the ref used the replay system to confirm the penalty, which is not allowed.  Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville went nuts over the handling of the play, as most any coach would have.
After this weekend, it would seem that the NCAA needs to go back to the drawing board on training it's refs on what purpose instant replay is used.
