somewhere,i knew jdouble would be happy to hear this news lol

I just can't see my boy Tebow playing in any other jersey except the ol' Bucs.  If someone else ends up stealing him from us I will have a hard time staying a hardcore Bucs fan for life.

If blount works out that means we don't have to worry about RB in next years draft. DE and OL all the way.

Blount, has always looked like a man amongst boys with his running style, and can be useful for a squad looking for a shot in the arm on offense.  I have always said if you have a shot at NFL level talent you take it, and this guy has it in spades.  His issues appear to be serious if he has an outburst, once more though but at the same time I have not heard any bad conduct off the field, so I think he deserves a chance.

Quality is bad and the beginning is very low resolution, but this pretty much shows his entire college career....which was one year.

Never would have thought the BUcs would have went out and bagged this guy.  A part of me is intrigued, but let's hope on a young team, he can learn to keep his cool.

And better yet, lets hope he offers the Bucs some power running they desperately need.  They got two shifty guys in Carnell and Huggins, and two power-ish backs in Graham and Blount.

I am not going to even bother mentioning Blumpkin.

Wow they must be desperate. It seems like picking up a fullback, Tony Richardson anybody, would be a much safer bet.

Tony Richardson would have been a safe move if he was available. But he wasn't....

http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/news/story?id=5540122

After one day of unemployment, Tony Richardson returned to the New York Jets, re-signing Monday after being cut Sunday in a procedural move.

It's almost as if MD is reading the board and making moves based on the majority of our wishes.

Cut Clayton - Check
Cut Ward - Check
Cut Brown - Check
Cut Peanut - Check
Sign Blount - Check

I know not everybody was on board with those moves but a lot of you have posted about all or some of those players.

Maybe it was all Navy's doing? I heard he has MD's ear.

Wow. Dominik is going all in. I'm freaking impressed. I like this, but I didn't see it coming. I think we need some of his attitude on offense, personally. Like Keyshawn brought attitude and respectability to our sorry offense back in the old times. I can't believe Dominik is going out on this limb!! I am extremely impressed with the cutting of Reggie Brown, and Bowden and the signing of the Aussie punter, too. Dominik is the pimp!!

I am not that impressed, because this is a 3-13 team afterall, and frankly if the team can possibly avoid having to draft a RB in 2011, why not?

Bowden is a boomer. He kicks the ball straight up and gives the covwer team time to get down there and minimize the big gains.

Reggie Roby(RIP) played here and he could hit the ball 50-60 yards a pop, but he always outkicked the coverage and as a result we had many huge returns against us when he played. This is a philosophy you have to be on board with. Look at net averages for punters. There are a few who boom it and have a good net, but just as many who do not outkick their coverage and have a comparable net average. Realistically, if you can have roughly the same net average and minimize the big play that costs you points, you are better off. GIVE IT SOME TIME!!!!!! He hasn't played one game yet, sheeesh!!!
give it a rest.

Indeed.. why waste the opportunity to concentrate on clear needs next year in DE and OL by grabbing some RB's this year? sheesh.
