June can play all three linebacker spots and has experience playing safety in college.  I do not know what Kiffen and the coaching staff is cooking but I can not complain with the addition to add a young, proven defender to the defense.

After just reading the Fab 5, I guess I am not nearly as excited as I would have been about this.

If June becomes a Buccaneer, which does not appear to be imminent,

LOL

Very nice signing. Now all the Bucs have to do is draft Earl Everett, Buster Davis or Rufus Alexander in the second round and I'll be very happy with the future of our LB corp.

AMEN.......got to trust the coaches, and lets face it we weren't great last year so any starting caliber player added to the roster HELPS.

There's already gloom and doom regarding this signing on the bucs.com site.  Absolutely ridiculous over there.  Some worried about his size - others saying his tackling is not the best.

That's pretty funny coming from a team of "undersized" Derrick Brooks and the fact that Cato has led the Colts in tackles 2 of the last 3 years.

Funny that the front office and coaching staff decided to sign June, yet a bunch of internet message board experts question the move.

Good signing, the Bucs have had a good offseason so far! Hopefully the draft will be the same!

Can't wait to see the numbers.  I was really hoping to see Winborn on the field this year; hopefully we can get both of these young guys on the field at the same time.

MJS

I have to honestly admit I have a lot of negative doubts about June.  But like I said I will trust Monte and his defensive staff if they feel comfortable with June.

Doom and gloomers are here too. They're worried about his size 6-0 227lbs. They're saying he can't takle, Although 3 straight years with more than 100 and 142 total last year(More than Briggs) Says different. They're saying he if we're over paying him to play SLB it's a bad thing. I say, THE KID is 27 years old people and he's versitile. He will be at WLB soon. So how are we overpaying. AND HIS TAKLING STATS DON'T LIE. This is the best signing toward our future of this offseason. And if he has takling problems I'm sure Kiff can learn him a thang or two. Again his takling stats don't lie. They say 100+ three straight years. Anybody who argues these FACTS are fuc*kin stupid and need to sign off PR.com and...

Great signing. June is a force as long as there's defensive line to protect him. He's also great in coverage.
