Mario Williams 0 Sack first 6 games. Now a League feared pass rusher.

Not like the Buccs passed on Suh, so it doesn't really matter.

I heard he's been getting triple teamed at times.
I'm just saying his college rep has already influenced the attention he gets in the NFL.
Plus we don't have a good rushing DE so that also contributes.

Suh's team gave up 160 yards rushing to Adrian Peterson today.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

Im just asking a question to people who may know more about D-line stuff than I do as to why McCoy really hasnt had much of an impact yet. Is it footwork, coaching, technique?

The season is young. Mccoy will get better. Suh might be better now. BTW Detroit is 0-3 we are 2-1.

Correct.

Bucs DT Gerald McCoy was triple-teamed by Carolina blockers on several plays in Week 2.
The No. 3 overall pick in 2010 hasn't put up exceptional numbers, but the attention he has drawn from opposing blockers has freed up Tampa bay linebackers to make plays in opposing backfields. McCoy is on pace for 40 tackles, which isn't bad considering he's a rookie and regularly faces double-teams.

Its tough when you are

A. a rookie
B. Have no help at DE

McCoy AND Price are going to be fine...Sapp did not even start his first year...DT is a tough position for rookies... He has come close in every game and will close the deal soon.

Soon. He's been very close and been getting pressure. McCoy has caused a lot of rush throws but he will get his sacks. And as someone pointed out, Suh has help around him on the d-line.

I don't know but Earl Thomas is looking like a stud.  2 picks today including the game winner.  Mayock was right.  He was the best S in the draft.
