charlie batch scoring td's has nothing to do with Freemans lack of scoring.....he had trouble against the damn Browns man, thank you ronde for the int to the 5 yard line, and thank you mike williams for then endzone catch that should have been another freeman interception....these recievers play more defense than offense when freeman throws....

It seems like most of Freeman's success comes when the play has broken down and he is just winging it.  I just worry that he is not a good fit for a structured offense and as defenses get more tape on him he'll strugle even more.  I was hoping his work with Drew Brees this offseason would provide some help, but I'm just not sure if it really sunk into Freeman.

well thats the problem, and it showed in the steelers game, all you have to do as a defense iss stop the run game ( which is easy with caddy running ) and leave the ball in freemans hands and the game is over. Freemans ability to adapt and move forward so far is non existent.......i could get over the bad plays and the crappy decissions if he went to the sideline and acted like a leader, but he doenst do that...he sits on the bench by himself, doesnt interact with the backs or recievers, and just stares off into space...horrible leader

lol success will be largely on freemans back?  lol seriously, so when he wins it's his victory, but when he loses it 's someone elses fault? hahaha

So this is where all the good posters are.  Logan and Chaos I won't block you either.  Sure there are a lot of ignorance here but there are some very  knowledgeable fans as well.

All the wins definetely aren't solely because of Freeman

and all the loses aren't soley because of Freeman either.

You can't just lump them all together.

I think games like Green Bay, where Freeman marches down the field are big Ws where you can credit Freeman.

I think games like the second game against Carolina last year where Freeman threw umpty bajillion picks are loses you can almost put solely on Freeman.

However, games like last weekends matchup with Pittsburgh, I don't think it's fair or justifiable to blame Freeman for the lose when the defense has it's ears completely pinned back because our defense was giving up points like they're free.

Actually the defensive performance had a lot to do with the offense changing game plans.  If the game was closer you would have seen more commitment to the run and less passing.  We might have continued to move the ball and score points.  But who knows.

In any case it is too early to say what kind of a QB he will be (successful or not).  But early indications are that he might just work out.

I can assure you that never crosses my mind. It is funny how my posts sets some of you off into a frenzy, Like wet hens.   It's funny,  to me anyways.  Chest bump ya'll.

I have no problem with Freeman being our QB.  But you all, PR, Morris, Dominick........ Stop trying to sell me he's a Franchise QB when he's clearly not.   That's my only point.  How come nobody accepts me as a friend?

Let me clarify. You don't think he is a franchise QB right now? Or you don't think he can become a franchise QB?
