Taking a look at the top 15, here are their current SOS rankings:

1.   Alabama        26
2.   Ohio State     99
3.   Oregon          57
4.   Boise State    38
5.   TCU               78
6.   Oklahoma      15
7.   Nebraska      134
8.   Auburn         72
9.   Arizona         51
10. Utah             137
11. Arkansas      101
12. LSU               22
13. Miami (FL)      20
14. Florida      14
15. Iowa             65

Why is Ohio State overrated year after year?

I take it that SOS is based only on games already played and not the entire schedule. Otherwise there is no way Boise is ahead of a PAC10 team or Auburn and Ark.

How is Ark so low when they already played the unanimous #1 team?

speaking of Boise, I heard the best argument yet regarding them (even though I still dont think Boise should play in a natl title game), it was from Joey Harrington he said your telling me a Big East team with 0 top 25 teams gets an automatic berth into a BCS game but Boise who beat 2 ranked teams at the time shouldnt, and probably will a third. Of course people blew the phones up and were debating him. But that is the best argument Ive heard this year 0 Big east teams should take a BCS berth thats the biggest crime IMO

If Ohio State beats Iowa and Wisconsin I have no problem with them finishing where they are. But they wont

I think them only playing 4 games factors in, and their first 2 games were against Tenn. Tech and La. Monroe.

OBF, agreed about the Big East not deserving of an automatic bid.  That needs to be addressed, along with good non-BCS teams like BSU and TCU.

You could use that argument even more so for TCU who is in a conference with 3 ranked teams (TCU, Utah, Air Force) which is more than the Big East AND the ACC COMBINED!
