Detroit wouldn't do that.  They are rebuilding and they want picks.  They might have once hoped that Rice would be cut or traded for a 2nd day pick, but now that the salaries of other DEs have risen, Rice's is more in line with the others.  But if we want to move up from 4 to 2 its going to cost us one of our 2nd round picks.

how about this this years ist next our 2ndb and next years 2nd and 3rd for their 2nd overall and Shaun Rogers if we got rogers that would take care of our need for a DT Rogers can become a beast for us if i had to i would even give up our 1st for next year. Cause we need to do what it takes to get Calvin Johnson on our team and adding Rogers gives us a need. We have so much cap room next year to bring some great free agents in. just dont get rid of simeon rice i love him and he will give us 10 -15 sacks next year.
