Guess it's a matter of opinion but I tend to think Freeman won us that game and Caddy just was the open guy who got thrown to.   I wouldn't say that Benn won us this one either just because he came up with a big catch.  Freeman still had to deliver a catchable ball and then you had the pick and everything.   Just a team effort like always.  good game and Blount more then made up for his fumble which was caused by our own lineman anyway.   Sammie however....no excuse for muffing that punt.   It needs to be fixed.   Mike Will had a good game again but he's not ironman....his hands are suspect.  Still he's got an amazing athletic ability and if Freeman can look towards other guys and not focus just on him this will be a pass happy offense with a bruiser back.  good stuff.

And can we stop ripping on Ruud? I know he has big time shortcomings but the guy gives his all. He's just undersized and underpowered. If you want to complain to anybody, it's the GM for not getting us a better MLB.

buccintex - it is all about 5.  And if a franchise is going to be competitive with the better teams - it has to be.  Everyone else plays their roles - and the qb enables...

word to your mother......Freeman is the man.   When he got after Zuttah on that one play I smiled.   That's the kind of leader this team needed.    

UFOjoe- yeah it's a good feeling but no sorry I can only stop the Ruud bashing for one day.   After that I will continue to demand a new leader for the defense.   He's just not that guy.
