Kick was long enough. He just missed it. But they should have kicked the 54 yard FG earlier instead of netting 19 yards on the punt.

This.  If you know you'd try to kick a 55+ yarder, you run the ball at least once or twice.

 with the way the Cowboys had the offense spread out I dont understand why they didnt run a draw on that 3rd down to get atleast 2 or 3 yards (or maybe more ) instead of throwing that pass to Dez.  That play has been failing all night...
