I agree. To go on the road to Washington in the cold with a 2nd year QB, a patchwork o-line with only 1 starter left and a team full of rookies and undrafted players filling in for injured starters and WIN is a phenomenal feat in my book.

Both are phenomenal feats. the fact that were doing this is mostly first and second players in this amazing.I don't think there is a rookie from this draft class that hasn't contributed and some way shape or form.besides brent bowden

Great win.   Morris said after the game it was an ugly win, but still a W.

Interesting stats:

By improving to 5-2 on the road, the Bucs are assured of their first winning road slate since capturing the NFC South in 2005. They can tie the franchise road mark of 6-2 set by the 2002 championship club if the Bucs win at New Orleans on Jan. 2. RG Derek Hardman made his first NFL start, becoming the 40th Bucs player to open a game this season. Shanahan can't believe LT Donald Penn wasn't penalized for grabbing LB Brian Orakpo on Josh Freeman's game-winning TD pass to Kellen Winslow. "He (Orakpo) wasn't held he was mugged,'' Shanahan said. Tampa Bay boasts an 85-49 scoring advantage in the fourth quarter. The Bucs have limited four of their past five opponents to 17 points or less. With his three field goals Sunday, Connor Barth has converted 17 of 21 kicks this season. Freeman has been intercepted only three times in his past nine games.

Freakin Shanny........Myron got held so bad on one play his shirt came off the shoulder pads.  No call.    I am a believer in the calls even out in the end.

Don't forget Barber in the 1st half was almost tackled when he blitzed and still got to McNabb.

Has there been a coach or player on a single team this season that hasn't complained/whined after we beat them?

Your right about that. I have never seen so many "fans" be so negative. There are probably atleast 6 posters who frequently post that I don't even believe they are bucs fans. Anyway you look at it you have to be impressed with the way this team is responding to tough situations. Yes we got outplayed in the first half but our team stepped up in a lot of situations that caused it to be close in the second half. Then we just absolutely dominated them in the second half besides that last drive.

lol at shanahan.   Man up you tool box.  Other coaches don't whine about penalties as much as him.   He's always been that way.   He's a crier too just like Rex Ryan but maybe not as bad as **CENSORED** Vermeil.    Bucs are the youngest roster in the league and had a fumble at the goal line and another fumble earlier....yet they still overcame and got the W.   Shanny is just pissed he didn't pull that holder and stick in Grossman.

When people get beat by the Pats its ok because they are a very good team. When the Bucs beat people its someone else's fault because the entire NFL still thinks were a joke.

That is not even close to being true this season....Bucs are getting a ton of respect across the league as a true up and coming talented team

Despite the feeling some have that we don't have a head coach, I gotta say Rah is getting a lot of love.  People couldn't believe we were winning with rookies. Then they couldn't believe we were winning with practice squad guys. The injuries continue and now people can't believe --ugly wins or not-- that we're winning the games we should win with rookie practice squad guys.  Even Yasinskas, temporarily thwarted in his panther bias for the season, said today that:
Quote from: Yasinskas
"Besides, the way the Bucs have been finding good young players out of nowhere all year, you get the feeling, if something did happen to Freeman, that they'd just go out and sign Tampa Plant High's Phillip Ely or Dade City Pasco High's Jacob Guy and still find ways to win. "

All the monday morning QB's on this board have made it un enjoyable..

They has such high standards for a team that wasnt supposed to do anything this year. now they expect them to win every game in blowout fashion..

7 rookies starting means a lot of mistakes.. but to many madden players think they should be superbowl bound.

PR has a whole has gone down hill.. Charlie writes about the same stuff.. Scott RARELY posts and Wolf well who knows what he does..

Not renewing next season.. I'd rather be a FAN and watch the games and be able to enjoy them.
