Will the Glazers retain these players/coaches?

Blount will be a free agent in 2012. Talib will be due a new contract in a few years. And there are a few others as well. These guys, if they keep up their level of production, are going to want big money.

Plus like the front story on PR today concerning the Bucs coaches. Several of them are not under contract in 2011. If there is a lockout, they would be unemployed unless the Glazers pay them to do nothing, and we may lose some of them to the college ranks. Raheem is also not under contract unless the Glazers exercise a 2-year option, which (as far as we know) they have yet to do.

There are also many free agents this year. Trueblood, Joseph, Caddy, Stovall, Ruud, etc.... And I doubt Barber sticks around if there is a lockout.

There are a ton of question marks. And a lockout would not be good for this team at all!

Lot of teams already have their coaches locked up for the long term. And the loss of an offseason probably wont effect a veteran player all that much compared to rookies and young guys.

Im sure they will. Why wouldnt they. They have something that is working and they stated they want to commit to the players they draft. This team is the youngest team in the league and just clinched a winning season after a 3-13 season. The Glazers would be stupid to not resign these players.

Honestly, as stingy as the Glazers are as far as tickets are concerned as well as the lack of free agent spending, we've shown that we aren't afraid to spend money...sometimes too much. The Winslow contract has paid off, but it was still quite high and seemed pretty risky at the time. The Faine contract was definitely too high. We also offered Haynesworth a ridiculous amount of money, more than even the Skins(thank God he didn't take it). The Clayton contract was also pretty large.

I'm not really worried about extensions. I'm worried about the fact that they're spending the bare minimum on advertising and getting this team known in the community again, as well as their refusal to adjust to the poor economy and lazy fans.
