These timeouts early need to stop
It is the first half.  Who cares about timeouts?

Second half early timeouts kill ya.

Great timeout by Free, he obviously saw something that wasn't right.

I would rather he recognized something, then if he went ahead and showed no ability to read...

Jus sayin.

Its the fact they burn them like they dont need them. Happens in the second half also.

Well, that's the downside to having a million rookies starting...having to burn timeouts early are the sort of things that can happen.

And the offensive line looks pretty awful so far.

Of course I would rather them burn a timeout instead of making a mistake but its a constant problem in every game. I am sure that department will be worked on in the off season tho.

Would hate to see us not be able to challenge because we were out of T.O.'s in the half.

4 minutes in and two timeouts used reeks.  This is something that will have to be addressed in the upcoming off season.

It was Lorig, a rookie. I'm certainly not saying it's acceptable; it's very frustrating and as docbravo mentioned, it makes challenging a lot harder in this half. But I can't say I'm shocked when it happens either, probably more than half the offense is in their first or second year.

This team needs to learn to make adjustments...and by showing recognition skills.

The timeouts early in the first half do not bother me one bit.

I recall when Gruden was the coach, how bad it would piss me off that veterans, older cats, would run right through them early in the second half, and they would be without them in the final moments of the game when they truly needed them.  That is annoying.

This young team calling them makes me think they are not comfortable with something.

And the second timeout was a GREAT one.  It avoided a big penalty.

VERY nervous about a soft zone the BUcs are going to play.  Brees is gonna chew them up I fear.

3 receptions:  Lumpkin, Purvis, Briscoe...  There's something you wouldn't have guessed at the beginning of the season
