"I have an inportant announcement that I would like you all to know first before it is official. It has been a good run. Stay tuned for more details. Thanks to all of you, it has been a great season" -Ronde Barber....
I really hope this is a "I will return" announcement.

If it's true that he is retiring, I would hope he could somehow come back as a coach of some sort. Yeah, this is said about every great Buc that retires but Barber is one that merits a job as a coach. Even during todays game they were commending Barber on his football smarts and how he has "seen everything". I know Raheem is the DB guy but I wouldn't mind seeing Ronde getting that group together and on the right track whether it's now or in the future.

Doubt he wouldn't be able to come back. I assume it's his decision, not the team's. Mark me down as hoping he comes back for 1 more year.

Sounds like retirement. Ronde had a great career with the Bucs, and finished it with a very good year. Still holding onto a little hope he comes back.

He wants us all to know before it's official? Very skeptical of a Facebook post. Why would he say anything before the Bucs make an official announcement. And so quickly after the season ends? Hmmm...not buying into the authenticity of this.

Man, I sure hope I'm wrong. Ronde, you are still the man, come back!!! Be the 1st corner with 40+ interceptions and 30 sacks! You're only 3-4 away. You can do it!
