In Football, RESPECT is never given freely by your opponent. It must be TAKEN from them...VIOLENTLY

Great players cost a lot of money but help win games. High-priced players - a byproduct of poorly run front offices with bad scouting departments - only cost a lot of money.

Good mock and good value.

With Carnell Williams a free agent, and no real option behind Blount .My thinking is to continue to keep opposing defenses honest why no draft another big back. It is also added insurance against injury and any other problems that might arise from Blount. The ability of the Bucs to be able to have a consistent ground game will only further the development of Freeman.

I like the mock.  Well thought out...   I too think the 2nd is too early for a RB.

It's a safe bet that Carnell will be re-signed to a reasonable deal, he won't get better in the league for sure.  That's a win-win.

I really think that the 1st, 2nd and maybe even the 3rd round picks have to address our issues on defense.  (Unless there's an incredible value that cannot be passed up.)

and then maybe get a guy (DeMarco Murray or Daniel Thomas - both in MD's favorite conference) in the 4th or Derrick Locke in the 6th.

Who knew how good it would feel as a fan when we now know what it\'s like for our team to have a direction, an attitude, and dare I say an offense?.

Good time to be a Bucs fan.

While many think Williams will be re-signed, it is up to him. One must also remember he will get to decide where he goes. The Patriots are always a team looking for those specialist type's. Considering Williams is great is pass protection and has improved hands I see some team offering him more then the Bucs.

I'm fine with RB there. Leshoure is a really good talent and we're still addressing all needs with capable players later. I don't think there's a 2nd round OG or LB who are significant steps up from Ijalana and Irving.

I love it.  Nobody has brought up Mike Mohamed's name here before but what I have read on him sounds pretty good.  Don't know if he will be around in the 6th or even Irving in the 4th though.  Also don't think we have a shot at Quinn or Leshoure unless we trade up.  But it would be a great draft if it fell that way.

I used NFL Draft Scout, as a resource and drafted players based on where they have them slotted by round. While I know some of the players may be chosen before the Bucs pick in each round. Figured it would be best that way for the most part the round in which they are projected to go before the combine are solid.

Replace Leshoure in the 2nd with CB/FS Ras I Dowling, and then take RB Allen Bradford in the 5th over Lindsey and I'm sold.

Only things I might change

1) Dont see Quinn dropping to us wouldnt be a bad choice Kerrigan or Quinn but I think Quinn at worst is a top 12 pick

2) I like the OL prospect from Miami Orlando Franklin he is a big athletic Tackle/Guard and I think he will be a solid guy late second- mid third

Not all that thrilled. The RB in R2 is an obvious overpick for a guy you HOPE doesn't get used much.  There's also too many LB's and DB's on the list. I want to see a draft much heavier on big men - 1 DL and 1 OL ain't it.  We need a starter at DE but we need some useful depth there as well and on OL there's really about 3 positions that we (hopefully) need to fill between starters and a reliable depth guys. While the LB's are needed, they're not AS needed.

Also, you are cheating the system by taking guys, Quinn, who won't be there and a lot of guys about 1 round later than most mocks show them.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

With four of the teams linebackers unrestricted free agents(Ruud, Black, Hayward, & Niko) linebacker looks / appears to be just as big of a need as finding an edge rusher. If the Bucs don't / can't resign Ruud, Black or Hayward that is two starters and their top reserve, who played all three linebacker spots that need to be filled. While there are two in-house candidate's in McKenzie & Watson that leaves them no depth or competition at any linebacker spot.  Now as far as they're not as needed goes, only time will tell. But as stated if the Bucs by the time the draft rolls around lost all four, one could say linebacker is just as much of  a need as finding offensive lineman and and edge rusher or two is.

Black, Niko and Hayward are sack of rocks guys and Black plays that SLB spot that is a joke to fill so that is a place to get a low/mid tier FA type to fill in.
